I am mikayla peña, a latina artist with a passion for stop motion/2d animation and storyboarding! my art practice revolves around story and using unique methods to bring stories to life. born and raised in the american southwest, my life has been constantly influenced by both oral and written story traditions that are distinct to this region of the world.
